A big rig crash involving a light pole was reported in Orangevale on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash was reported at Hazel and Oak avenues around 2:52 p.m., the California Highway Patrol online logs indicate.

According to a radio transmission from Sacramento fire dispatch indicates that the big rig crashed into a tree and a light pole. The crash was reportedly blocking the intersection.

Live downed wires were reported in the crash.

Drivers are advised to take alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.
