Driver dies after crashing into light pole in Boise

The driver involved in a single-vehicle car crash last Monday night has died of their injuries.

Boise Police responded to a car crash at State St. and Horseshoe Bend Rd. intersection. Police say the evidence shows the driver was headed east on State St. and traveled through the intersection at Horseshoe Bend Rd. before veering off the road and hitting a light pole.

The driver was transported to a local hospital but died on October 24, of their injuries. The identity of the driver and the cause of death will be released by the Ada County Coroner once proper notifications have been made.
