Driver killed in solo crash on Magnolia Avenue in East Knoxville

A 56-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Magnolia Avenue on June 6, a Knoxville Police Department spokesperson said in a press release.

Knoxville resident Kevin Owens, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene following the 7 p.m. crash at Magnolia Avenue and Beal Bourne Street in East Knoxville. The driver crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a traffic light pole, the release said.
